Toutes les chambres de la « Maison du Collectionneur » affichent un esprit résolument artistique et poétique. La décoration est pensée comme un voyage dans le temps avec à chaque étage une époque et un style différent.
Certaines ressemblent à la chambre rêvée que nous aurait prêté un ami artiste avec ses objets, ses souvenirs, sa musique ou ses livres… d’autres sont celles d’un « voyageur-collectionneur » qui au gré de ses pérégrinations aurait rapporté des objets chinés qui nous parlent et colorent chaque chambre d’une ambiance particulière.
Enfin, le confort est présent à chaque étage et dans chaque chambre avec des choix de matériaux nobles, une climatisation réversible, des literies de qualité et une très belle hauteur sous plafond.

Located on the first floor, just off of a quiet street side, is a large room with Hungarian point parquet flooring that offers our guests an atmosphere that’s imbued with serenity. Fornasetti fabrics, hand-fashioned bedside lamps, long and flowing curtains and a majestic headboard give a feeling of comfort and absolute refinement.

On the first floor, garden side, this bright classic-style room with Hungarian point parquet flooring overlooks splendid gardens and the neighboring townhouses from the 18th century. This large room combines vintage furniture with selected works of art and is equipped with a “claw-footed” bath that creates a romantic ambience.

On the second floor, garden side, this large room is filled with sun and is design around the vegetal theme and colors to immerse yourself in the landscapes that once inspired Cézanne.

The third floor walk-up, located on the street side, which affords our guests with a view of "ocher roofs” of Aix-en-Provence, is warm and inviting, the sort of space that might inspire you to relax and read a book. Dominated by the “spirit” of renowned French interior designer Madeleine Castaing, the room is decorated in the “faun style” indicative of early XIXth century French style. Turquoise and orange intertwine with baroque headboards and sophisticated ornaments.

3rd Floor

The "Maison du Collectionneur" Loft, inspired by the neo-expressionism work of Jean-Michel Basquiat and others artists from the Port Art movement, will transport you to the late 1970s and the mid 1980s. This bright and spacious duplex is adorned in bright colors with curtains, headboard, cushions and quilts made to summon the spirit of the late 1970s. The alchemy is made complete with contemporary paintings signed by Spark or Lilly, and various pieces of period furniture including a marble coffee table and a pair of “Egg” armchairs designed by Korch.
